Walaupun kalkulator fx-570ES dan fx-570 ES PLUS adalah kalkulator keluaran terbaru, namun terdapat fungsi yang ada pada fx-570MS dikeluarkan dari siri fx-570 ES. Fungsi prefix seperti mili, nano, pico, mega, kilo dan sebagainya dikeluarkan dari siri fx-570ES. Saya tidak tahu apa punca dan sebab Casio mengeluarkan fungsi prefix ini. Sebagai guru Matematik, saya tidak menggunakan fungsi ini yang kebanyakannya digunakan oleh pelajar untuk subjek Fizik.

Fungsi prefix pada model fx-570ES, dengan mudah boleh dicapai dengan menekan butang [shift] dan memilih prefix yang diperlukan. Sebagai contoh:

Namun tiada fungsi ini pada siri fx-570ES. Apa yang perlu kita buat mengatasi masalah ini ialah menulis prefix di atas kalkulator fx-570ES seperti ini.

Perlu diingat menulis menggunakan pen di atas kalkulator tidak akan menjadikan kalkulator anda secara ajaib boleh melakukan prefix 🙂

Bagi menyelesaikan soalan yang sama sebelum ini menggunakan fx-570ES, tekan  [x10­x] dan [-] [3]

Manakala untuk siri fx-570ES,

Saya boleh rumuskan, jika prefix melibatkan G, M dan k (disebelah kiri), cuma perlu tekan [x10­x] dan [nombor]. Manakala jika melibatkan n, μ dan m (sebelah kanan), tekan [x10­x] [-] [nombor].

Sebenarnya cara yang paling mudah adalah menghafal semua prefix 🙂
